‘Go Shehla Go’ chants echo in Sindh Assembly

Ms Raza had lamented MQM lawmakers in the last session in reply to their chants, using slang ‘Dimaag ki Dahi’ (brain squashed like yogurt) when she presided over the last sitting.

MQM legislators at the outset of the session rose to their seats and demanded that the remarks of the deputy speaker be removed from assembly procedidngs, terming them non-parliamentary.

They also chanted ‘Go Shehla Go’ slogans to register their protest.

The deputy speaker said her remarks were not a part of ruling or against the norms of the assembly.

She clarified that she made those remarks humorously.
