98 suspects nabbed in raids across Pakistan
RAWALPINDI: Security forces arrested 98 suspects in various raids in Punjab and tribal areas, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Police and intelligence agencies in a joint raid in Lahore’s Iqbal Town arrested 40 suspected persons. Another 13 persons were taken into custody in a raid in Naseerabad area of Rawalpindi.
Police arrested eight beggars near sensitive installation at Rawalpindi’s Mall Road.
Kot Momin Police arrested 28 suspects in a raid. Moreover, five Afghan nationals were arrested from Landa Bazaar area in Gujranwala.
Police arrested four suspects during snap checking in different areas of Bahawalpur.
Khasadar Force seized 192 mortar shells and large number of detonators in Mohmand tribal region.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pakistan Army in a shootout last night shot dead four Taliban militants in Tank district.
Hundreds of terrorists and militants have been killed and arrested by security forces in a cross country crackdown after recent wave of terrorist attacks.
