Aamir Sohail appointed Chief Selector PCB

LAHORE: Former Pakistani opener Aamir Sohail has been formally appointed as the Chief Selector of Pakistan Cricket Board here in Lahore, ARY News reports on Tuesday.

He will also hold the additional charge of Director Game Development as well.

The position was vacant after former chief selector Iqbal Qasim had resigned from office. Azhar Khan and Farrukh Zaman retained as members of the selection committee.

Mohammad Ilyas has been appointed as Selector womens and juniors team.

Basit Ali has been named as the in charge of Regional Cricket Academy of Karachi whereas Intikhab Aalam will serve as Director of Domestic Cricket.
