According to sources, Javed could likely be made director of one of the PSL  franchises in the upcoming edition.

Meanwhile, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has tasked former cricketers Wasim Akram and Ramiz Raja with selecting the head coach.

Veteran cricketer Mohsin Khan was also in the run for the coveted post and enjoys a decent record as headcoach of team in his previous tenure.

However, he refused to appear before Raja and Akram, calling them juniors.
