Abu Dhabi Test: West Indies dismiss Misbah early on day two

ABU DHABI: Pakistani skipper Misbah-ul-Haq fell just four runs short of his century as he was dismissed leg before on the second day of the Abu Dhabi test match against West Indies on Saturday, ARY News reported.

Misbah was dismissed LBW from Shannon Gabriel’s bowling after scoring 96 runs from 162 balls with four boundaries and two sixes.

Pakistan, won the toss and chose to bat first, ended the first day’s proceedings on 304/4 with Misbah-ul-Haq on the crease.

Younis Khan, who scored a brilliant 127-run knock from 205 balls, was caught by Roston Chase from the bowling of Kraig Brathwaite. He scored 10 boundaries and a six in the innings.

Asad Shafiq made 68 runs from 121 deliveries with seven fours to his name.

Pakistan is batting at 340/5 in 91.3 overs with Yasir Shah and Sarfraz Ahmed on the crease on 22 and four runs respectively.
