KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Andleeb Abbas on Saturday said that her party has several leaders who think they are capable enough to become chief minister, ARY News reported on Saturday.

“When there are too many choices, the choice is difficult and some problems are very good to have. A lot of PTI members believe that they are capable for the responsibility,” Andleeb said while talking to ARY News.

She said PTI chief Imran Khan selected his team members after due deliberation and since the post of chief minister of Punjab held extreme importance, therefore a host of things were being considered to nominate somebody for the post.

To a query, pointing towards the previous governments’ way of nominating chief ministers, Andleeb said that during the other parties’ rule, the only criteria to ascend to such important posts was either being a family member or a relative.

“However when you have scores of choices then you go for the best one viewing his qualities and strengths,” she said.
