“Illegal money had been extracted from Karachi then it was used on killing of innocent people of the megapolis,” he said while addressing a seminar organized by Association of Builders And Developers (ABAD) at Karachi Expo Center.
He said 10 people used to be killed daily from 2008 to 2013, however incidents of killings have significantly been reduced after Karachi operation to two persons a day.
“Situation has become better in Karachi since Rangers got powers. We will very soon establish peace in the city,” he said.
He said criminal elements had made city hostage before the operation.
Bilal Akbar said there were many enemies of China Pakistan Economic Corridor project and Indian intelligence agency RAW has also been active foil the project.
