KARACHI: All-Rounder of Pakistan’s Cricket team Shahid Khan Afridi declared batsmen for the humiliating defeat against West Indies, ARY News reported.
While talking to media at Karachi Airport on his return to home, Shahid Afridi said the negative approach of top-order batsmen dragged Pakistan away from the victory.
“ Is that the way to play T20 cricket? No boundary was scored during the power play”, he said.
Afridi said the target was achievable and bowlers did their job reasonably but poor batting led Pakistan to defeat.
When questioned about captaincy of national cricket team, the all-rounder affirmed to accept any kind of challenge for the sake of country.
