KARACHI: Star all-rounder Shaid Afridi recevied the documents for the one canal plot announced by Bahria Town Chairman Malik Riaz for brilliant performance against India during the Asia Cup, ARY News reported.
A ceremony organized in Karachi on Saturday to hand over documents for the plot, Afridi thanked Bahria Town’s Chief for praising his work and awarding him.
Speaking on the occasion, Shaid Afridi expressed satisfaction for his performance in Asia Cup and spoke about his determination to perform well in upcoming mega event ‘T20 World Cup’.
Bahria Town Sindh Executive Director, Zain Malik said Shahid Afridi is a national hero and every Pakistani feels proud of him.
Shahid Afridi isn’t departed to Bangladesh due to injury and will leave on March 17 to join the national team for the T20 World Cup.
