LAHORE: Federal Minister for Railways, Khwaja Saad Rafiq has said that whether it be Shakeel Afridi or General (R) Pervez Musharraf, traitors will remain behind the bars – ARY News reports.
Talking to media while inaugurating Railways Sports, the Minister for Railways said that Pakistan is facing numerous internal and external threats and no compromise will be made against the national interest. He added that the people threatening of abandoning aid to Pakistan will not succeed in pressurizing us.
Speaking about operation against Taliban, Saad Rafiq said that there is no chaos regarding this, those who talk through blasts and explosives will be replied in the same language.
He added that the Government is ready to hold talks with Taliban, yet it cannot stand in front of terrorists with its hands folded.
Commenting on the treason trial against General (R) Pervez Musharraf, the Minister labeled him a coward retired general and alleged him of humiliating the Armed Forces of Pakistan.
He stated that the disease Musharraf is affected from, has got a remedy here in Pakistan.
