The slogans of a shadowy group al-Qaida South Asia has been found inscribed over the walls in Gulshan-e-Iqbal, Azizabad and other areas of Karachi.

Earlier, a publicity campaign was started in Karachi, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and other cities of Pakistan in the name of Daesh.

Federal Interior Ministry had ordered the police and other law enforcement agencies for crackdown against the campaign launched in the name of Daesh in Islamabad and other parts of the country and removal of such banners and posters immediately.

According to sources, intelligence agencies in their reports sent to the government have denied presence of Daesh in Pakistan adding that a few elements have launched the campaign in the name of the group.
