After PPP, ANP tends to be party in commission on rigging

KARACHI: In following of Pakistan Peoples Party, Awami National Party (ANP) has also decided to become a party in the judicial commission to probe alleged irregularities in last general elections, ARY News reported.

According to details, the party has also formed a committee and directed it to collect evidences of rigging in General Elections 2013.

In his exclusive word with ARY News, ANP leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain told that his party has prepared a formal application seeking to become a party in the commission.

“Everyone knows that ANP was not allowed to lead its election campaign ahead of the last general elections, while all the political parties are of the view that the polls were massively rigged during last general elections,” he said.

Yesterday, Pakistan Peoples Party had also announced to become a party in the judicial commission.
