‘Agitators’ must guarantee peace during their protests: Rasheed
Addressing party workers after national flag hoisting ceremony in Rawalpindi, the minister said Pakistan was acquired after democratic struggle. Our elders did not resort to long marches, rather they opted for legal procedure instead of road agitation to get their demands accepted, he added.
Rasheed maintained that no one would resign on Imran Khan’s desire. He asked why some elements were launching protest movements at a time when Pakistan economy was improving and people were happy with the improvement.
He said the world was accepting that Pakistan was progressing towards improvement. Development projects started by PML-N were not launched in last 60 years. Change is now taking place under the the PML-N, he claimed.
We will fight terrorists everywhere including North Waziristan and Islamabad. Imran Khan and Tahirul Qadri, Choudhary Shujaat must make sure that there will be no foul play or breakdown of law and order in their protest movements.
“Ch. Shujaat, Imran Khan and Sheikh Rasheed are pursuing the line of Pervez Musharraf.”
Rasheed told that confectionery items including cakes and sweets worth Rs 1 billion were bought on Eid day.
