Ahsan Iqbal denies Imran Khan’s allegations

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal said on Sunday that government and Army are on same page and conspiracies to create misunderstanding between the two have been ended in vain, ARY News reported.

While addressing a press conference in Islamabad along with Minister of State Anusha Rehman, Ahsan Iqbal has strongly criticized chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) Imran Khan.

Denying Imran Khan’s allegations, the Federal Minister said Khan’s irresponsible speeches undermining the state adding that it may lead the country towards civil war.

“Imran Khan is trying to prove that he is the only true and righteous person in Pakistan while rest of the others are dishonest and anti-state but in real every politician is as much patriotic as he is”, said Ahsan Iqbal.

He said Imran Khan’s controversial remarks regarding Balochistan is tantamount to provoke Balochs for violence while followers of Maulana Fazl-ur-Rehman are also unhappy.

He said the national economy suffered losses worth Rs.1000 billion due to protest demonstration in federal capital.

Ahsan Iqbal said there isn’t any reality in Imran Khan’s allegation that Chinese President was visiting Pakistan to give loan.

Meanwhile, Anusha Rehman, speaking about rigging claim in 35 constituencies termed as ‘35 punctures’, said that only 11 constituencies among those thirty five are from Punjab and PML-N had won only seven of them.
