Aitzaz asks PM Nawaz to bring his capital to Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Senator Aitzaz Ahsan has claimed that Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif is the third largest investor in England from all over South Asia, he talks about foreign investment in Pakistan, but not bringing his own capital to the country – ARY News reports.

During a debate of foreign policy of Pakistan in the Senate, Aitzaz Ahsan said that there is no Foreign Minister of the state. He inquired the Government that isn't there any competent person in the National Assembly or in the Senate, whom it could charge with this responsibility.

The PPP Senator said that Pakistan's foreign policies are not secured, while an additional burden of 52 billion USD was also put on the nation.

At this, the PM Aide on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz said that the figure of 52 billion USD debts is not true and the Minister of Finance, Ishaq Dar will inform the House about the correct statistics.

He said that some of the recent changes made in the foreign policies of Pakistan, will have far-reaching consequences, Pakistan's ties with the United States (US) and Europe are improving and it will not interfere in internal matters of other states.

PPP Senator, Raza Rabbani said that the policy statement of the Government is not acceptable and demanded it to inform the House about the facts, saying that we are equal stake-holders in this regard.

Moreover, the session was adjourned till 4 pm tomorrow evening.
