Aitzaz hopeless about any outcome of Model Town Tribunal
LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leader, Aitzaz Ahsan has said that there will be no outcome of the formation of a tribunal on Model Town Incident, like the way all the judicial inquiries and tribunals have gone in vain in the past – ARY News reports.
Talking to media at Lahore High Court (LHC), Aitzaz Ahsan said that it seems as if the ‘younger brother’ has endangered the ‘elder brother’. He said that the Model Town Incident was a tragic event, yet it does not seem that the judicial inquiry of it will bring any results.
Aitzaz said that shooting at a plane and diverting the other, all these happenings defamed Pakistan in the world.
Speaking about operation in North Waziristan, he said that PPP fully backs Pakistan Army, while the offensive can only succeed provided the internally displaced persons (IDPs) are facilitated.
It was further said that PPP is true opposition for PMLN, yet we criticize in a civilized and polite manner.
Moreover, Aitzaz Ahsan said that PPP Senators were about to advertise in newspapers for the sake of calling the Prime Minister in the Senate of Pakistan, but the Finance Minister, Ishaq Dar brought him earlier.
