AJK decides to initiate one window operation for investors

MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir government on Monday decided initiate ‘one window operation’ to facilitate investors in tourism sector.      

Presiding over a high-level meeting in Muzaffarabad today, AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider said that they would provide every possible facility to investors.

The meeting also decided that public private partnership would be encouraged to develop tourism on modern lines.

AJK PM Raja Farooq Haider directed all departments to extend full cooperation for the development of tourism in the state.

Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan on April 2 had said that an overseas commission had been formed to address the issues of overseas Kashmiris.

Talking to United Kingdom based leader Barrister Abid Hussain, who had called on him in Islamabad, Sardar Masood Khan had said that both the commission and investment board would give a legal cover to the capital of investors in Azad Jammu and Kashmir .

To encourage foreign investment, AJK president had said that his government had been offering attractive incentives to investors from abroad particularly to overseas Kashmiris.

On the occasion, he had lauded the role of overseas Kashmiris and Pakistani community in raising Kashmir issue on international level effectively.
