Al-Quds Day being observed today
Muslims throughout the world will be taking to the streets on Friday to protest against the atrocities and crimes committed by the Israel against people of Gaza.
International Quds Day is an annual event held on the last Friday of Ramadan that was initiated by the Islamic Republic of Iran in 1979 to express solidarity with the Palestinian people and to oppose Zionism and Israel’s control of Jerusalem.
Special prayers will be held in all Friday sermons at mosques for security and prosperity of the country.
Several protest rallies will also be taken out in different parts of the country by religious parties to denounce the Israel’s aggression against Gaza.
Security across the four provinces has already been beefed up in view of the prevailing law and order situation.
