LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau on Wednesday disclosed that senior Punjab Minister Aleem was taken into custody for his involvement in corrupt practices, ARY News reported.
Sources relayed that Khan is accused of amassing assets beyond known source of income in Pakistan and abroad apart of involving himself in corrupt practices as Park View housing society secretary. “The bureau has acquired enough evidence against him.”
They further added that the accused setup Hexam Investment Overseas Ltd and different offshore companies for heavy investments into the real estate business.

Khan purchased 1500 kanal of land under his company’s name MSA&A but failed to prove his source of income.
Earlier, on Feb 6, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader was taken into custody after his answers failed to satisfy the anti-graft watch dog officials.
Following his arrest, Khan tendered his resignation from his current post.
