LAHORE: Senior Minister Punjab Abdul Aleem Khan on Thursday reviewed pace of work on the government’s 100-day plan and said the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan will reflect in it in the province.

He presided over a special meeting of the Prime Minister Reforms Team and Special Monitoring Unit Punjab.

Aleem Khan said that Punjab and federal governments have close liaison for implementation on the directions given by the prime minister and monitoring unit should review the progress of 70 days work done in different fields.

He said that revolutionary steps are being taken to come up to the expectations of the masses and we would not only cut the tape but will also work practically in the field.

The minister said concrete steps are being taken in health, education, agriculture, industries, housing and clean drinking water sectors where targets have been fixed for the next 5 years.

Aleem Khan said that unfortunately corruption is rooted in all the departments and we have to work for the change of system while living in the same system which is indeed a difficult task.

The minister called upon the government officers to change themselves and come out of the traditional style and work for the change in their department with a new vision as they will be given full support and security.
