Ali Zafar has lots of friends from the Indian film industry, since the Pakistani heartthrob has himself starred in a couple of Bollywood flicks. However, he also got to meet with and chat up some stars from Hollywood, namely Spanish beauty Salma Hayek and American Academy Award-winning actor Matthew Mcconaughey.

Also in attendance were Bollywood heavyweights Abhishek Bachchan and Akshay Kumar. All the celebrities had gathered on the occasion to support the Girl Rising movement by the The Global Education & Skills Forum.

The Global Education & Skills Forum is the leading multi-stakeholder educationevent bringing together leaders from the public, private and social sectors.
