KARACHI: All Pakistan CNG Association has declared a strike for indefinite period of time against weekly gas suspension to CNG stations, ARY News reported.
Karachi transport union announcing full support to the strike declared to suspend transport from Saturday.
Chairman of CNG association, Shabbir Suleman condemned the continuous closure of CNG station for 48 hours.
He said that in order to fulfill the demand of domestic consumers, shutdown of CNG stations for two consecutive days is unfair.
“It is better to have CNG shutdown on alternate days for 24 hours”, Suleman suggested.
The Chairman said that incessant shutdown of 48 hours badly hurting users as well as owners of CNG stations.
Furthermore, transport associations have already announced the strike for indefinite period of time from Saturday against measures taken by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).
