MQM chief asks workers to shun violent approach

KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has urged his workers and supporters to practise calm and avoid any violent approach during the election campaigns for National Assembly constituency (NA-246) by-polls scheduled on April 23, ARY News reported Wednesday.

In a telephonic conversation with zonal committee members of Hyderabad, Mr. Hussain asked his workers to refrain from move that may provoke tension.

He directed his workers to maintain unity within ranks.

The MQM chief urged supporters to foil conspiracies and propaganda tactics of rival parties by voting MQM in local government elections in cantonment areas.
