Altaf, Bilawal condemn 'killing' of JSQM leader

KARACHI: MQM chief Altaf Hussain and PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari have condemned the alleged killing of Jiye Sindh Qaumi Mahaz (JSQM) leader Maqsood Qureshi, ARY News reported Friday.

In their separate condolence messages, they expressed grief on the death of JSQM leader.

MQM chief said the true admirers of Sindh were being targeted. He said MQM would keep closed all its zonal offices and secretariats in Sindh to pay tribute to slain JSQM leader and MQM workers.

He said black flags will be hoisted at all offices including headquarters at Nine Zero and sectors of MQM to pay respect the slain leaders.

He appealed the government to arrest the culprits of Maqsood Qureshi at the earliest.

Meanwhile, Bilawal also strongly condemned the ‘mysterious’death of JSQM leader.

In his tweet, he said such incidents were unacceptable. While expressing his sympathies with the party leaders, he appealed the victim’s heirs and JSQM workers to stay patient.
