KARACHI: Convener Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan Dr Farooq Sattar on Tuesday said he would not stay in the MQM now which will have its founder Altaf Hussain in it, ARY News reported.

“Altaf Hussain committed suicide attack on August 22,” he said while talking to a private TV channel.

He felicitated Pak Sarzameen Party for its slogan of ‘throw weapons and pick up pen’ and said doors of MQM were open for any political party.

“PSP leaders Mustafa Kamal and Anees Qaimkhani had left MQM out of despair, however I have never called them wrong though I had difference with the way through which they left.”

Farooq Sattar also expressed unawareness and dissociation from the huge cache of weapons which was unearthed from an underground depot near former MQM headquarters Nine Zero.

To a query, he affirmed that MQM workers can also be agents of Indian spy agency, RAW.

He said MQM Pakistan had moved court to reclaim their political offices.

The MQM leader said investigation into Farooq Sattar murder case and 12 May incident must be carried out, however Mayor Karachi Waseem Akhter should be released.
