Altaf condemns Mubarak Raza Kazmi’s killing

LONDON: Chief Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has condemned the killing of renowned religious scholar Allama Talib Jauhari’s son-in-law Mubarak Raza Kazmi with strong words, ARY News reports.

In a statement, MQM Chief Altaf Hussain said that killing of people from a specific school and non-arrest of their killers poses a question mark on the ongoing target operations in the city.

He added that the killing of doctors, professors and professionals of Mubarak Raza Kazmi’s sect is a clear evidence that terrorists are targeting the people one by on and Karachi has been left at the mercy of the brutal terrorists by the federal and provincial government.

Altaf Hussain said that he is being informed that the situation in Karachi is bad despite the targeted operations launched by the provincial and federal government in the metropolis. He added that target killings, ransom, extortion and street crimes have also increased.

MQM Chief demanded the government to take notice of Mubarak Raza Kazmi’s killing and arrest the terrorists involved in the killings and give them a strict punishment. he also said that the lives and property of the citizens should also be protected.

Hussain also passed his condolence to Allama Talib Jauhari and said that he and the party members are equal in sharing the grief. He also prayed to Allah to grant Mubarak Raza Kazmi eternal paradise.

On the other hand, MQM Raabta Committee members Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Haider Abbas Rizvi met Allama Talib Jauhari and offered their condolences on the killing of Mubarak Raza Kazmi amd offered Fateha prayers. They also condemned the incident.
