Altaf expresses concern on Sindh Police transfers

TOP NEWS

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain has expressed his concern over the recent appointments and transfers in Sindh Police and the controversy surrounding the death of former SP CID Chaudhry Aslam, ARYNews reports on Wednesday.

In a statement, Altaf Hussain said that the probe of Chaudhry Aslam's killing should be jointly done by Sindh Government and Rangers so the real causes behind the incident are known and the involved persons are arrested. He further said that the people involved from the Police inside should be exposed along with the terrorists who carried the attack.

MQM Chief claimed that the Rangers' agitation on the transfers within Sindh Police was raised as to divert the masses's attention from Chaudhry Aslam and killing of other police officers so that the incident goes in the background. He urged Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Army Chief General Raheel Sharif to control the strife between the Sindh Government and Rangers before the situation gets out of control and to arrest the persons behind Chaudhry Aslam's killing and inform the masses about the truth immediately.

He appealed to the Police force to understand the conspiracies made to divert the attention from Chaudhry Aslam's killing and to make decisions according to their conscience.
