He rejected reports that some elements planned to welcome Imran with tomatoes and eggs at Nine Zero.
In a statement here, he said, “With his [Imran’s] confessions today, he has become my brother.”
“I consider Imran Khan a Muhajir to the core,” said the MQM chief.
He invited Khan to Nine Zero with his wife Reham Khan.
He conceded that MQM vote bank has declined, adding he was trying to address grievances of sympathisers of the party.
Mr. Hussain said he would return to Pakistan once he got his passport. He prayed that God may shower his blessings on Imran for his intent to offer Fateha at martyrs memorial at Jinnah Ground.
