Altaf Hussain appeals CM Punjab to remove road obstacles

KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Husain has appealed Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif to order for the elimination of containers and other obstacles placed on different roads in Punjab, ARY News reported.

While talking to ARY News on Sunday, Altaf Hussain said it’s sad to hear painful news from Punjab that’s patients badly suffering due to roads closures in Punjab.

Altaf Hussain urged not to convert Independence Day (August 14) to the day of slavery.

MQM Chief has directed MQM workers of Punjab to help public facing difficulties in the situation.

Altaf Hussain issued statement after a 60-year-old patient died in an ambulance when he was denied access to the hospital in Firozwala Tehsil due to security blockades erected by the police.
