Altaf Hussain appeals President Mamnoon to stop Rangers from brutality

KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain said on Wednesday that party workers are being arrested by law enforcement agencies for no reason, ARY News reported.

In a statement today, Altaf Hussain said raiding houses of party workers, their arrest, harassment of their family members and extrajudicial killing has become routine of Rangers.

He complained that when elective members of MQM contact local Rangers officials about arrested workers, they get no satisfactory reply.

MQM Chief said that Rangers brutality with political workers is not only a violation of human rights but also completely against the UN Charter and the Constitution of Pakistan.

Altaf Hussain appealed President Mamnoon Hussain to stop Rangers from committing excesses against people of Sindh by utilizing whatever powers he posses.
