LONDON: Sources reported that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain has been arrested in London on Tuesday, ARY News reports.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain was nabbed in money laundering case.
He was arrested by the Scotland Yard from his house in North West area of London. The investigation team has confirmed the arrest.
Commercial and educational centres in several cities of Sindh including Karachi started to get closed after the news of Altaf Hussain’s arrest spread like a wildfire. City life in several cities of Sindh including Hyderabad, Nawabshah and Mirpur Khas are also coming to a stand still.
MQM workers are reportedly gathering at 90 in Azizabad area of Karachi. A press conference, called by MQM, will be held at 03:00 P.M.
