Altaf Hussain asks Govt. to form committees for surveillance

KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Monday demanded to form committees comprises of local residents of different cities to keep an eye on terrorists, ARY News reported.

In a statement issued from MQM London secretariat, Altaf Hussain asked Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif to call an emergency meeting of heads of security forces and to pass an ordinance for the formation of monitoring committees in every city for the surveillance of terrorist elements.

MQM Chief has directed the party workers to give proper attention to the security arrangements during the holy month of Moharram-ul-Haram.

Altaf Hussain has made an appeal to the government to arrest culprits involved in the suicide attack at Wagah Border.
