Altaf Hussain asks LEA’s to stop extra judicial killing of MQM workers
KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has strongly condemned the brutal killing of four workers of Maymar and Gulshan-e-Iqbal sector, namely, Muhammad Sameed, Ali Haider, Faisal and Salman Qureshi, ARY News reported.
Ina statement issued on Thursday, Altaf Hussain said MQM have repeatedly expressed their concerns over injustice including the raids, abductions and torture on MQM workers, that is being carried out by the law enforcement agencies but unfortunately remained helpless over the issue.
“We have taken our issues to ruling authorities and Judiciary but remained failed to get justice”, he added.
MQM Chief asked the police and law enforcement personnel to stop killing innocent citizens or to get ready to face the wrath of Allah.
He appealed President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Federal Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar and COAS Gen. Raheel Sharif to take notice of the incident and to arrest the culprits.
