In a statement, Altaf Hussain has asked the authorities to re-organize LB polls in KP under the surveillance of unbiased and neutral observers.

“Women of Kyhber Pakhtunkhwa were not allowed to cast votes and people were kept deprived of their basic right”, he said.

MQM Chief said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Jamat-e-Islami (JI), Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Awami National Party (ANP) were all united on the agenda of restricting female voters to cast their votes.

Altaf Hussain alleged parties for carrying open rigging in the local body elections by saying “fake votes were cast during polling in front of general public, who were threatened with modern weapon.

He said such undemocratic, unconstitutional and amoral incidents have raised several questions over the transparency of the elections.
