LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief Altaf Hussain was released on bail, ARY News reports on Saturday.
MQM Chief Altaf Hussain was arrested on charges of money laundering in London on Tuesday.
He was shifted to a police station from Wellington Hospital yesterday and was questioned for nine hours. Hussain was released by Scotland Yard after his counsels submitted the bail.
MQM Chief has been summoned by the investigation team in July.
Several MQM supporters and representatives such as Babar Ghouri, Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hassan, Rauf Siddiqui and Mustafa Azizabadi had gathered outside the police station. They were jubilant went their leader waved at them.
Altaf Hussain left for MQM International Secretariat after his release.
