KARACHI: While castigating at Geo administration, Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said some elements within the Geo have adopted course of confrontation instead of apologizing, ARY News reported Thursday.
“Some elements within the Geo have preferred the policy of “fight and let’s see” rather than making an apology,” the MQM chief said in statement.
He said Geo TV did not portray high-ups of sensitive state institutions as per proper journalistic values.
The MQM chief appealed people to keep their protest peaceful against Geo TV.
“Be it deliberate and undeliberate mistake on part of Geo, but taking law in hands on pretext of protest should be strictly avoided.”
Mr. Hussain said the way of protest should be in accordance with law and constitution.
