Organizational changes are underway in the MQM, while the party chief, Altaf Hussain has made the MQM KTC inactive until further orders. Offices of the KTC have been closed across the city and all the members of the committee are also prevented from working.
Altaf Hussain had announced to dissolve the KTC during the general workers convention, a week ago.
Sources within MQM have said that consultation is underway whether to keep the KTC inactive or to restore it, while the committee had also requested for talking to Altaf Hussain.
