Altaf Hussain lauded the former prime minister for presenting facts over the issue of General Pervez Musharraf and expressed reservation over non-release of his son Ali Haider Gilani.

On the other hand, MQM chief talked to Sajjad Ghani over the complaints and reservations MQM has against the ongoing targeted operation in Karachi.

The corps commander assured Altaf Hussain that all steps will be taken to ensure that Karachi operation remains neutral.

After getting the assurance, MQM chief postponed his decision to write an open letter to Army chief General Raheel Sharif in this regard.

It must be noted that MQM, since the start of operation is unhappy from the proceedings and has termed it a ‘witch hunt’ against party workers.
