Altaf says Taliban’s version of Shariah unacceptable
KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain has said that Taliban’s Kalashinkov-backed Shariah is not acceptable at all, ARY News reported on Tuesday.
Talking to MQM workers in Punjab House, Lahore via telephonic address from London, Altaf said everyone adhered to the Shariah prescribed by the Almighty Allah through the Holy Quran. He said imposition of Shariah demanded by terrorists is neither acceptable today, nor it will be tomorrow.
He stated the recently held solidarity rally by MQM in Karachi has brought to an end the terrorism of Taliban.
MQM chief said the party is going to organize ‘Sofia Conference’ on March 9 in Lahore and appealed people and different leaders to attend it.
