LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Chief, Altaf Hussain has said that the leaders of the religious and political parties and Ulama of all the schools of thought will now have to distinguish between the friends and foes of the humanity and they all will have to unite together against the bloodthirsty elements targeting innocent people through terrorist activities – ARY News reports.
He said so while addressing the party officials at the MQM International Secretariat here on Sunday.
While addressing, he urged the people of Pakistan to forget about their sectarian and individual conflicts and to unite together against the enemies of the humanity.
Commenting on the sit-ins against the NATO supply, the MQM Chief stated that those who receive dollars from the United States (US) are also staging demonstrations against drone attacks to fool the people.
During his talk, Altaf Hussain also exchanged views with party officials on present scenario of the state, interfaith harmony, unity among Muslims, promotion of forbearance for others, problems faced by the people including the issues relating to gas, power, water, health, education etc.
He stated that apart from serious internal and external threats to Pakistan, people are also suffering from poverty, unemployment, diseases and numerous other problems.
He directed the party officials and MQM members of the Parliament to play their effective role in the assemblies for resolving the issues of the people and to get such laws and bills passed that could truly provide relief.
