Altaf wants end to Pak-Ind animosity
KARACHI: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement chief Altaf Hussain said he wanted an end to hostility between Pakistan and India and all differences between the two countries must now eradicate, ARY News reported.
Addressing the workers on occasion of Aalmi Mushaira (poetry symposium) in Karachi on Saturday, Altaf said we had forgotten the norms of living with a neighboring country.
“A friendship between India and Pakistan will help both the countries.” He stated that people of both the countries should jointly fight against terrorism.
“I always supported idea of Indo-Pak peace, despite facing intense criticism,” he added.
The MQM chief said organizing ‘mushaira’ was fruitful at a time when law and order situation was deteriorating in the country.
