Altaf, Zardari urge party officials to quit cross fire
KARACHI: Co-chairman of Pakistan Peoples Peoples Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari and Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain have urged their party members to refrain from issuing statements against each other, ARY News reports on Friday from Karachi.
The decision taken by the two political heads, leads to the formation of a possible coalition in the province between the two parties.
Earlier, Asif Ali Zardari had instructed the Chief Minister of Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah in a meeting at Bilawal House to improve relations with MQM in the larger interest of the province.
Chief of MQM has also urged all the elected members of Muttahida Qaumi Movement not to issue any statement against any of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) officials.
