‘Am available for West Indies tour’, Misbah informs PCB

LAHORE: Test captain Misbah-ul-Haq has informed Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) that he is available for the upcoming tour of West Indies, ARY News reported.

According to reports, Misbah-ul-Haq has refused to step down as test skipper and informed PCB Chairman Shahryar Khan that he will be available for the tour of the Caribbean.

Misbah-ul-Haq will be leading the squad in the three-match test series against West Indies which starts from 22nd April at Jamaica.

The second test will be played from 30th April to 4th May at Barbados whereas Dominica will host the third test from 10th May till 14th May.

It should be noted that speculations were arising that Misbah might step down as Pakistan’s test captain following the team’s dismal performances against New Zealand and Australia.

Misbah had announced that he will decide about his retirement after the second edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
