Without a doubt, rickshaws are a fun to ride. All of us have ridden this native-to-Asia vehicle quite a few times in our lives – some do it even daily.

The joy multiplies when the weather is pleasant with breeze and drizzle touching you from the open sides as you head to your favourite picnic spot.

Then there is this American tourist who loved rickshaw ride so much that he ended up buying one of his own.

What’s more, is that he is planning to go from Karachi to Pakistan-China border at Khunjerab Pass on his rickshaw.

Alexander hails from the United States and had come to Pakistan for tourism. He took a few rides of rickshaw here and there and instantly fell in love with this vehicle.

Soon, he bought a rickshaw of his own and as is the tradition among the rickshaw owners, he too decorated his beloved ride with shiny stickers, ornaments, and flags of US and Pakistan. Alexander’s green-coloured rickshaw catches the attention of onlookers wherever he goes.

And he wishes that Prime Minister Imran Khan joins him on his trip across the country. “My biggest wish is that Prime Minister Khan tags along with me, if he is watching this, I want to tell him that I would be delighted if he joins me on this trip”, he said.
