Amina Case: DSP contacts LHC for bail
MUZAFFARGARH: The prime suspect of the Amina self immolation case Deputy Superintendent Police Asghar Ali has filed a plea in the Lahore High Court (LHC) for bail, ARY News reports on Wednesday.
DSP Asghar Ali, in the plea, has taken stance that his name was included due to political pressure. It is further stated that he has no role in the self-immolation of the teenager.
The plea further states that the court should accept the bail plea as the case has been filed on terrorism grounds whereas there is no terrorist ground in a suicide case.
