Amna Case: Prime suspect handed over to Police on remand
MUZAFFARGARH: Main suspect of the Amna self immolation case Nadir was handed over to the police for a three day remand on Saturday, ARY News reports.
According to sources, a civil court handed Nadir over to Jatoi Police after a petition of a six day remand was filed in the court.
Amna had set fire to herself in front of the Jatoi Police Station on 5th January after Police had declared her rapists innocent.
The local administration came into action after the news of the self-immolation broke out and Nadir was arrested and a case was filed against five police officers.
Two DSPs and a SHO are still at large.
