Another increase in LPG price

ISLAMABAD: The Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) marketing companies has announced another increase of Rs.5 per Kg in the price of LPG on Thursday, ARY News reported.                               

Chairman of LPG Distributor Association Irfan Khokhar said that price has been raised with immediate effect.                                 

Following the increase in rates the price of domestic cylinder hiked by Rs 60 and commercial cylinder by Rs 240.                        

Furthermore, in major cities including Lahore, Rawalpindi, Islamabad and Karachi LPG will be available at Rs 120 per KG, while it will be sold at Rs 140 in hilly areas.          

On the previous day, LPG marketing companies raised Rs.5 per kg in the price of commodity and distributors curse the decision by saying that sufficient amount of LPG will be added to its capacity with the inauguration of Makori Oil field at Khohat.          

“The raise is illegal and ill logical, Prime Minister Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif should take notice of the increase”, they added.
