MULTAN: Another patient suffering from swine flu died here on Thursday at Multan Nishtar Hospital, taking the death toll to three in South Punjab, ARY News reported.
The current number of patients being treated against the disease is 14 at the hospital. A swine flu-affected patient named Mahmood-ul-Hassan was admitted at a Multan Nishtar Hospital and was kept in an intensive care unit. However, he succumbed to the disease and died.
The death toll has now reached three including two women. Two persons, one belonging to Multan and another from Khanewal, were also admitted to the isolation ward on Wednesday night, whose samples were dispatched to Islamabad for examination.
Of the total patients admitted at a Nishtar Hospital, seven belong to Multan, three from Taunsa, two Khanewal, one from Shujabad.
