PESHAWAR: Awami National Party (ANP), Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) and Jamiat Ulema Islam-Fazl (JUIF) has formally announced to form an alliance on provincial level for the upcoming Local Body (LB) elections – ARY News reports.
According to details, ANP leader Mian Iftikhar Hussain has said that the alliance shall also be maintained during the non-party based polls at the grass-root level.
PPP leader Liaquat Shabab told that PPP is completely in favor of alliance at provincial level.
Meanwhile, provincial information secretary of JUIF, Abdul Jalil Khan has said that LB elections will be contested together.
