Anti-MQM Pakistan slogans appear on Karachi walls
KARACHI: Anti-Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Pakistan wall-chalking has appeared in various areas of Karachi, ARY News reported on Saturday.
The graffiti has specially attacked MQM Pakistan leaders Khawaja Izharul Hassan and Farooq Sattar calling them traitors of Shuhda (martyrs), traitors of Muhajir nation and cheaters. The offensive graffiti dated 18, Nov 2016 also calls Izhar a shameless person.
Talking on a private TV channel about his visit along other MQM Pakistan leaders to Yadgar-e-Shuhada (martyrs’ monument) of the MQM, Izhar had called the dead ‘the dead’ and ‘the killed’ rather than the coined term for them by the MQM, ‘martyr’.
A clash had ensued between MQM London and MQM Pakistan as latter’s leader and Karachi mayor Waseem Akhtar after getting released from jail recently announced to arrive at Yadgar-e-Shuhada in the Jinnah Ground near former MQM headquarters Nine Zero.
Anti-MQM Pakistan wall chalking has reportedly also appeared on walls of Hyderabad. One such graffiti has demanded resignation of leaders of Pakistan faction from the assembly.
